The school is experiencing serious infrastructural deficiency and caters for 450 students currently, majority being orphans, who constitute 70% of its population. The school is a village school offering Kenya secondary schools curriculum as spelt out by the Ministry of Education and its related organs.
Poverty level in the area is high standing at 60% (absolute poverty) affecting the fee paying parents and guardians, with a HIV/AIDS prevalence of 13% – 28%, highest in Kenya. This call to action aims at raising USD 1,314,583 to enable the school provide for the needy children with education.
The school exist in an environment of diverse aspects and life conditions. External factors have strong bearing on what goes on the school. As such, a 5 year strategic plan, which spans from 2016-2021, was developed to help the school achieve its mission of educating the students who generally come from the environment.
